Main purpose is to bring people together who are interested in older bikes. For the 1997 season we are expecting some 150 members. We try to promote riding pre '65 bikes, no matter what size or origin. Every two weeks, on monday, we have a club gathering on which all members are welcome. This is held at the Lindencentrum in Schilde, which is about 20 km away from Antwerp. We also try to ride our bikes as much as possible in rallies and events. Of course we have our own swapmeet in February, and a two day gathering at the end of May, with a BBQ on Saturday. There are four magazines each year, with lots of information on bikes, tips, ads, events. For 1997 we have planned a two week trip all the way to Italy (Dolomites and Alps) !

We represent AJS and Matchless motorcycle owners in the US and Canada and we are affiliated with the AJS & Matchless Owners Club of the UK. Our membership is quite geographically distributed, so we do not have regular meeting as other clubs do, although we usually have a good representation an Bike Week in Daytona. While we represent North American members, our membership is not limited to those who reside in North America. Please write to the address below for international information.
Our membership dues are $12/year USD or $18/year CDN. Membership has it's rewards. Included in your dues are:
10 issues of the Matchless News, our club newsletter. We have technical articles, informative letters from fellow members, tips on part sourcing, an Autojumble (parts and bike classifieds, free to members), and listings of Coming Events.
Access to the Spares Scheme, a source for quality NOS, reproduction, and used parts (see Parent Club info below). The North American Section as well as the Parent Club in the UK contract outside suppliers to create hard-to-find parts to factory specifications, all at a reasonable price. To purchase the Parent Club parts list, include $5USD. The North American listing is updated periodically in the Matchless News.
Option to purchase a comprehensive members directory for $4USD or $6CDN. This directory is published annually. This directory includes all members and for those who wish to include it, a listing of their bikes. Many members include an assistance code that identifies if the member can supply technical help, spare parts, or literature. A comprehensive list of spare parts suppliers, service suppliers, and reference books specifically geared towards the AJS & Matchless marquis.
Access to the Parent Club's dating service (no, not that kind of dating). The UK club has many of the original shipping records and can provide accurate proof of manufacture for title purposes. You can also purchase past copies of the Matchless News. There is a small supply of 1993, 1994, 1995, and 1996 sets at $10USD, $15CDN per set. So come on, give us a try, you won't be disappointed!

The Norton Owners Club
- Description:
Founded in 1959, the Norton Owners Club has now progressed to its present international status with several thousand members worldwide and 29 branches. The club can be joined directly by application to the New Membership Secretary or for those living nearby, and interested in the social life of the clubroom, via one of the branches.
All members receive the bi-monthly magazine Roadholder which gives details of forthcoming club events, technical articles, members' letters and photographs and free advertising for sales and wants.
The club and branches organise a number of events throughout the year, provide a stand at the major shows in the UK calendar and organise the annual Norton Day. A club emergency aid list exists by which you can be helped out by other members in the (un)likely event of a breakdown.
Discounts are available at a number of suppliers and dealers on production of your membership card and there are arrangements for insurance at very competitive rates. Members have access to records and similar information via the club Librarian who also provides a machine dating service ( a fee is chargeable to non-members for this service.)
The N.O.C. also runs a Spares Scheme which specialises in sourcing and manufacture of parts which are not easily available or obsolete. Members enjoy discounted prices for parts bought through the scheme.
Lastly, there is a database of service and spares providers likely to be of use to the Norton owner, which currently holds over 1000 entries. It is hoped that this can be made available via the web site.

SRX Connection Holland
- Description:
The SRX-Connection Holland is not a real club. By this I mean we don't handle any contribution for the activities we organize.
Were just an bunch of guy's and girl's who loves one-cylinder bikes. The origin of the Connection lays in Holland. Six years ago it started with a advert in a Dutch motorcycle magazine. In the mean time we have grown to a "club" with about eighty member's. The most bike's that are owned by our members are of course the Yamaha SRX-600. Other bike's that have joined are for example KTM Duke's, MuZ-en, XT's and SR's.We organize all sort of things. Permanent item on the agenda is the organization of international meetings. The German and Belgium riders contributes on the international character of the meetings. Every year we have a meeting in Schoorl, Holland which is very popular. Also there are yearly meetings in Germany which is organized by the German Connection.
