SR500 Custom Muffler

I wanted to reduce muffler weight as much as possible and be able to tune the noise level so I started with a used aluminum can muffler. I found a discarded Toyota resonator at a muffler shop and salvaged the perforated baffle sections, I brazed these to the muffler end caps. The end caps pop rivet to the muffler body so it can easily be taken apart and re-tuned or packed. At the front of the muffler I have a tunable baffle at the end a resonator that will be wrapped with fiberglass with a 7" long tail pipe. All pipe is 1-3/4 diameter and will slip on to a SuperTrap header, total weight for the muffler and header is under 6 pounds.
